New facts have emerged in the following New York Magazine interview with Barney Frank (who sat on the board of Signature Bank.

- Signature was fully operational and able to open on Monday
- There were there NO warning signs that the government was planning an action against Signature Bank
- Signature was not insolvent, and NYDFS never admitted that
- NYDFS " couldn’t get sufficient data" from Signature and so they triggered the shut down (HUH?)
- Frank reiterated that DFS' main intention was to send an anti-crypto message
